Sawadee,
Located in the "decidedly hip & fashionable town" of Carbondale, Phat Thai is where "hole-in-the-wall noodle joint" meets casual neighborhood restaurant & lounge.
It’s a new breed of Asian eatery with superior cuisine & service, pairing imaginative food and drink inspired by our travels to Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and beyond: deliciously unpronounceable dishes, intriguing standards, street food, and some gringo interpretations.
Grazing and sharing are big elements of the phat experience, whether at the long steel covered communal table & bar or in the dining room. We encourage you to order a number of plates for your table and dine communally.
We endeavor to operate our restaurants in an economically sustainable and ecologically sensitive manner. We have genuine concern for our environment. We are an eco-friendly company that is passionate about the protection and sustainability of the planet.
We recycle all glass, plastic, metal, cardboard, and cooking oil. Our to go packaging is compostable, recyclable, and/or biodegradable.
We are always looking for improved ways to reduce energy consumption and water waste. We are only a small part of the solution but we, both as a restaurant and as individuals, are committed to acting responsibly by preserving what we can and raising awareness of the problems facing our environment.
Phat is available for "take away" Monday through Saturday from 5:00pm. Please go to our menu page for current options, and then dial 970-963-7001.
Our expectations are high and possessed of an obsession for good and tasty food and drink. No pretension; lots of passion.
